Pure Vitamin D3
Vitamin D refers to a fat-soluble secosteroids group that can enhance intestinal absorption of phosphate, zinc, iron, calcoum and magnesium. Vitamin D3 (also called as cholecalciferol) and vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) are the significant compounds in this group in humans. Ergocalciferol and cholecalciferol can be ingested from the diet as well as supplements. There are very less foods that contain vitamin D. Vitamin D synthesis (specifically cholecalciferol) in the skin is a natural source of the vitamin. Vitamin D dermal synthesis from cholesterol is dependent on the exposure of sun (specifically UVB radiation).
