Natural Vitamin E
Vitamin E refers to a compounds group comprising tocotrienols and tocopherols. γ-tocopherol is the most common form of many vitamin E forms in the diet of people. γ-Tocopherol can be found in margarine, dressings and oils, like soybean oil and corn oil. α-tocopherol is a biologically active vitamin E form and the second-most common vitamin E form in the diet. This variant can be found in sunflower, safflower oil and wheat germ oil. This a fat-soluble antioxidant that can help stop the production of reactive oxygen species formed when fat goes in the oxidation. When over 1,000 mg (1,500 IU) of tocopherols is regularly consumed, it can cause hypervitaminosis E, with an associated risk of vitamin K deficiency and consequently of bleeding issues.
